The configured questions are intended to collect a caller’s name, callback number, service need, and answers to the contractor’s intake questions. Urgency is based on what the caller says, not a diagnosis or promise of dispatch. Live call answering is not active today.

How does Jobholler handle a caller’s service location?

Before the intended workflow offers or books an appointment, it asks for the caller-reported US state and five-digit ZIP code and checks them against the contractor’s saved service area. If the location is missing, invalid, outside the saved area, or cannot be verified, Jobholler should not claim the contractor covers it or book a time; the contractor must confirm service.

How do business hours affect appointment availability?

Configured business hours and the contractor’s time zone constrain which saved calendar openings can be offered. A time is not confirmed unless the calendar returns an eligible opening and the booking is successfully saved. If no opening is confirmed, there is no appointment.

Accepted Answer

Appointment booking is an intended workflow for a supported, configured calendar. The caller’s location must first pass the saved service-area check, and the selected opening must still be available and within configured business hours when the booking is saved. Live availability lookup and booking are not active today.

No. Capturing and organizing caller details may give a contractor information to review, but it does not ensure that anyone calls back, that a job is recovered, that revenue or savings result, or that an appointment is booked.

Jobholler is in prelaunch testing. Live call answering, carrier forwarding, public signup, and paid launch are not active. The browser preview is fictional: it does not place a call, check a live calendar, save a call record, or book an appointment.

Accepted Answer

No. Carrier forwarding is not active in this app. Keep your current phone settings unchanged unless Jobholler confirms that a supported live setup is ready for your business.

Does Jobholler handle emergency calls?

The prelaunch preview is not an emergency service and does not contact a contractor. If anyone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. A future configured workflow must not promise a transfer unless a live connection is actually confirmed.
